I really want to be here though. I'm sluggish and tired.

I need to get pumped out though. I'm taking some amazing classes.

Moments at CDM

Kinda a belated post, this fotos were taken on 6-29-08 but I decided to post them cause I like them a lot. Me and 2 friends were at Corona Del Mar at sunset and were killing some time before we went to go see the movie "Wanted" --mehhh on the movie-it was OK
I was glad I was able spend some time with two good friends and take some cool fotos (:

Weekend Getaway

My weekened getaway to San Francisco, Sonoma county, and Travis was amazing. There were some low points in the trip but I'm happy I was able to take some great photographs.

I love that I get the opportunity to take photographs
in some amazing places.
I am grateful :)

Jim on Reality

People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that's bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they're afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they're wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It's all in how you carry it. That's what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you're letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain

Another Brick on the Wall

I'm a horrible blogger, I guess

I am going to try to post a new/old pic

everyday and explain the meaning behind or what I was thinking.

I took the pic March of April of 2007, It was just barely when I got my point and shoot and to this date has still been my trusty workhorse. The image was originally in color and it look horrible but i knew when I coverted to B&W it would be great.

To date, still one of my favorite images.

I love the contrast of the flower to the bricks as well as the heavy contrast in the tones.
