Monday Work Blues

Today was not my day, work totally kicked my butt, I hope the rest of the week is better.

All Nightaz

Hi all, This past Saturday I did a photo shoot for the hip-group, "ALL NIGHTAZ"

They are a group of four guys based out of Long Beach making great music and promoting themselves trying to make it to the top. I chose Shoreline Aquatic Park in Long Beach for the shoot. I felt the the pier and the lights reflecting off the water really help represent the group's name and Long Beach City night atmosphere. The shoot was casual and fun, and only took three hours.

Inspiration & Self-Reflection

I urge any photographer or any person with ambition to watch Zack Arias video blog that he posted on Scott Kelby's Blog for "Guest Blog Wednesday"

His video blog incorporates almost all feelings I have as a photographer. I'm lost for words but I'm glad Zack was able to record them in an audio & visual dimension.

Happy Valentine's Day & Updates

Sorry for the lack of blogging, but I have sick for the past two weeks. Seems there is a nasty bug going around and getting everyone sick.
I started to feel better and the lemon teas I've been making at work have helped me out.
Enough bout me, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!

It was a long photoshoot, but like always it was a great experienced.

I like the opportunity to always advance my photography skills and working with different photographers and models.

I hope to be doing more, and more photoshoots in the coming months. Currently I am planning to do a promo shoot for the hip-hop group All Nightaz based out of Long Beach, Ca.

I had the chance to finally work with Ernie this past weekend during Angie's photoshoot. I assisted Ernie with lighting and he gave me the chance to take some pics for my personal portfolio.
